Mission Aviation Fellowship, or MAF, is
a dynamic worldwide christian partnership. Its purpose is to speed physical and
spiritual care to people in places of deepest human need. Remote places
where flying is not a luxury, but a lifeline.
For over
50 years, MAF planes have been serving countless thousands of men,
women and children, bringing medical care, emergency food, and
Christian hope.
Serving as the air-arm of the church. Today worldwide, the MAF partnership operates over 130 aircraft from bases in 30 countries. MAF also provides communications and logistics services to mission communities. Every three minutes, an MAF plane is taking off or landing somewhere in the world. Enabling the work of aid and development agencies, missions, national churches and other local groups. Carrying their dedicated teams bringing healing and relief for body, mind and spirit. Flying across deserts, jungles, mountains and swamps. Giving hope to far-flung communities which might take days or weeks to reach by land, where roads may be non-existent, or impassable for half the year. Click here for more information about MAF . |
